The High Performance Winter Level Training & Development is like nothing else in British Columbia. Bringing in all the best players under one roof, offering an environment that is balanced and competitive like none other.
Every parent will immediately see their child’s performance improve from being around other excellent and driven hockey players.
The High Performance Winter Level is an opportunity for 48 players in and around the Greater Vancouver Area to learn the importance of positioning, team concepts, team play and full ice hockey. The 48 players are broken up into groups and their will participate in Development on Saturday and on Sundays for 20 weeks over the fall and the winter.
The development starts Saturday Sept 22, 2018 – Sunday Dec 16, 2018 and shuts down for Christmas Break holidays and resumes back up Saturday January 5, 2019 – Sunday Mar 3, 2019.
All players wanting to participate in High Performance Level Winter Training and Development must be registered for summer camp
Participants will work on break outs, face off structure, positioning in the defensive end, positioning in the offensive end, attack strategies coming over the blue line with support, sharing the puck around the ice and much more. Development sessions will often spend time breaking down specific concepts and then building them up by the end of development.
On Sundays the participants will be divided into 2 groups to scrimmage against each other with a instructors to provide feedback.
On Ice development will be on a full 200×85 foot ice surface. The players will get feedback from the instructors as to what they are doing well and what they can try and improve on.
